The service combines introductions within the Punjabi Sikh community with human concierge support, helping members begin with a one-to-one coffee date at a local public café.
After members create a profile and activate their search, a concierge reviews potential introductions. Each person can accept or pass. When both agree to meet, the concierge helps coordinate a time and a public café for their first coffee.

Kimari calls its approach First Coffee + 3 Dates: an initial coffee followed by up to three more dates with the same person, provided both want to continue. Registration is free and there is no subscription. For a one-to-one coffee date, each participant uses a Coffee Ticket, normally priced at C$49. Women receive their first ticket free when they activate their search. Tickets do not expire, and accepting an introduction does not automatically trigger a charge. Introductions and dates depend on availability and mutual agreement.
