Dr. Rodriguez earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Great Lakes in Great Lakes, Illinois, followed by specialty training in Prosthodontics at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Oral Biology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Prior to private practice, Dr. Rodriguez served 13 years in the United States Navy as a Dental Officer and Prosthodontist. He serves as President of the Florida Prosthodontic Association and chaired the highly successful inaugural joint meeting of the Florida Prosthodontic Association and the Florida Association of Periodontists, held in 2026. Dr. Rodriguez is a faculty member at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, where he teaches prosthodontic residents.
His community leadership and service include serving as Assistant Chairman of the Florida Mission of Mercy in 2021 and Chairman of Give Kids A Smile in 2022, as well as participating in numerous other community outreach and charitable dental initiatives throughout his career.
