Nordstrom Rack to open new San Diego location

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A new Nordstrom Rack store is coming to San Diego.

The store, which was first announced last September, is slated to open to the public Thursday, Sept. 19 at 9 a.m. with a grand opening celebration.

The approximately 26,000 square-foot store will be located in Clairemont Town Square at 4829 Clairemont Dr. The shopping center is already home to other major retail stores such as Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx, Burlington and more.

Nordstrom Rack is the discounted division of Nordstrom, offering customers up to 70% off on apparel, beauty, home goods and shoes from many of the brands sold in the full-line store.

According to a representative, the store gets new deliveries each week, allowing customers to shop from a variety of products on the sales floor.

Nordstrom Rack currently has four locations throughout San Diego County in Mission Valley, Westfield Plaza Bonita in National City, The Shops at La Jolla Village and Carmel Mountain Plaza.
