Police Investigate String of 20 Apparently Related Burglaries in Parts of County
Authorities announced Monday they are investigating more residential burglaries bringing the total to approximately 20 that appear to be related in the Mira Mesa, Rancho Peñasquitos and Rancho Bernardo areas.
Authorities announced Monday they are investigating more residential burglaries bringing the total to approximately 20 that appear to be related in the Mira Mesa, Rancho Peñasquitos and Rancho Bernardo areas.
The burglars appear to target corner houses and enter through a rear sliding glass door then ransack the home, taking safes, cash and jewelry, according to police.
Based on the information gathered thus far, the suspects all appear to be men in their late teens or early twenties.
A photo of a possible suspect was released, though no additional suspect or suspect(s) vehicle information is available.
