SAN DIEGO (FOX 5) -- In a seasonal battle, the May Gray clouds expanded over the coast and valleys late last night and dominated Wednesday morning, but the Southern California sun is reclaiming the skies.
By noon Wednesday, the low clouds retreated to the coast and most of San Diego County will get plenty of sunshine and seasonal temps in the afternoon and the rest of this week.
A coastal eddy spinning over the coastal waters this week will bring back the marine layer each evening/early morning but should clear by late morning.
Midweek, beaches will top out in the mid to upper 60s and inland valleys will reach the low to mid-70s, with mid 60s in the mountains and mid-80s in the deserts.
There's no rain in the foreseeable future, so go ahead and get the car washed and enjoy the afternoon sunshine.
