SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 15-year-old was stabbed in Del Mar on Friday, San Diego police confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI.
The incident was first reported just before 7:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Durango Drive. According to SDPD, the teenager sustained at least one wound in the right bicep and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment by their father.
No additional information was immediately available about the incident, including what led up to the stabbing and the severity of the victim's injuries.
However, SDPD said officers are looking for two suspects at this time, both are described as being in their teens. No one has been taken into custody as of 8:30 p.m. Friday.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing. The scene between Durango Drive and Cordero Road was closed off by law enforcement.
