Drive-by shooting sends boy to the hospital
A boy under the age of 18 was sent to the hospital Tuesday night after a drive-by shooting, authorities said.
ESCONDIDO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A boy under the age of 18 was sent to the hospital Tuesday night after a drive-by shooting, authorities said.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of E Fifth Street in Escondido.
Local police said the victim was shot in the arm, though he was not admitted to the hospital because his injuries were not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made at this time and no suspect information was immediately provided.
Police told FOX 5 there was conflicting statements about what happened. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
