Fire Causes Up to $15,000 in Damages to Structure at Balboa Park Golf Course
An early morning fire on Thursday that damaged the exterior of a shop at the Balboa Park Golf Course has been labeled suspicious.
An early morning fire on Thursday that damaged the exterior of a shop at the Balboa Park Golf Course has been labeled suspicious.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department was on scene at 2600 Golf Course Drive at around 3:30 a.m., according to OnScene.TV. Firefighters found a side of the shop nearest the parking lot ablaze and feared flames had reached the interior.
Damage to the structure is estimated at up to $15,000.
San Diego police officers assisted in the response.
