VERNON & SALMON ARM, BC, September 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Home Building Centre in Vernon and Salmon Arm have partnered with the Global Gridiron Football Experience (GGFE) to bring 18 NFL Legends to Vernon and Salmon Arm, British Columbia, for an extraordinary series of football, community and entertainment events from May 20–28, 2027.
The partnership will help create one of the most unique football experiences ever held in the region, giving children, coaches, families and football fans the opportunity to meet, learn from and spend time with individuals who have reached the highest levels of professional football.
The centrepiece of the experience will be youth football camps and coaching clinics from May 21–24, where young athletes and local coaches will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from NFL Legends.
But football is only the beginning.
Throughout the week, the Global Gridiron Football Experience is planning a variety of events and experiences, including autograph sessions, meet-and-greets, golf with NFL Legends, VIP experiences, a dinner gala, and special community events.
A PARTNERSHIP BUILT AROUND COMMUNITY
The partnership between Home Building Centre in Vernon and Salmon Arm and Global Gridiron Football Experience reflects a shared commitment to supporting children, families, and communities throughout the region.

The events are also expected to attract visitors to Vernon, Salmon Arm and the surrounding region, creating opportunities for local hotels, restaurants, retailers, tourism operators and other businesses.
“We want people to come for the NFL Legends, but we also want them to discover Vernon, Salmon Arm and everything this incredible region has to offer,” Heron said.

For young football players, the opportunity will be about much more than learning plays and techniques.
GGFE is being built around education, mentorship, inspiration and creating opportunities for children through sport.
Participants will have the chance to stand on the same field as NFL Legends, hear their stories, learn from their successes and challenges, and receive instruction from people who have spent their careers at football’s highest level.
Local and regional coaches will also have opportunities to learn techniques and philosophies they can take back to their own programs, extending the impact of the event well beyond one week.

The Global Gridiron Football Experience is being designed as much more than a traditional football camp.
