Twin Cities Volunteers Respond to Local Stress and Anxiety with Community Outreach

MINNEAPOLIS–ST. PAUL, MN, September 09, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Over the past two weeks, local volunteers with the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Minnesota joined an international outreach initiative spanning more than 250 cities and 50 nations to offer stress tests, introductory resources, and seminar invitations across the Twin Cities area.

With mental health and daily stress remaining major concerns across local communities, volunteers engaged residents at shopping centers, fairs, and local community hubs. Outreaches focused on practical tools to help individuals manage everyday anxiety, work-related stress, and emotional strain.

During the initiative, local residents—including students, workers, and families—were offered free stress tests and introduced to foundational concepts designed to address the root causes of stress.

“I am so glad to be able to provide people who are overwhelmed with work, family, and everyday stress a practical way to understand the source of that stress and take control of it,” said one local volunteer.

The outreach effort centers on principles from Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard, first published in 1950. Derived from the Greek words dia (“through”) and nous (“mind or soul”), Dianetics explores the relationship between mental processing and physical emotional reactions.
